Welcome

Updated Sunday March 23, 2014 by Kanata Little League.

The Kanata Little League Baseball Association is a non-profit membership organization that operates a baseball program for children ages 4 to 18 in the Kanata (a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario) area.

Part of Ontario District 2 of Little League Canada, our league includes the communities of Kanata, Stittsville, Richmond, Munster, Carp and Dunrobin.

We operate our league with a simple mandate: “To Promote Little League Baseball in the Kanata area by instilling the values of honesty, fair play and sportsmanship”.

Our History

Since 1981, we have been providing a structured baseball program for kids in the Kanata area.

Originally named the Kanata Little League Baseball and Softball Association, our league became known solely as the Kanata Little League Baseball Association in 1984, adopting the tenets and philosophies of Little League Canada in association with Little League Baseball Incorporated.

Over the years our League has grown from its humble beginnings. With a strong core of dedicated volunteers, we continue the tradition started over 30 years ago with the same conviction and dedication of our founders.

Our Volunteers

The heart and soul of our organization are our volunteers. They are the ones that work tirelessly in the background to ensure that all of the pieces are in place to provide a quality baseball program.

Whether it is coaching the kids on the field, scheduling games and umpires, handing out uniforms and equipment or organizing a tournament, our volunteers are there to ensure that the work gets done and ultimately that the kids enjoy their baseball experience.

Come be a part of it: visit our contacts page and volunteer today!
