Big League Program

General Information
Ages: 17, 18 and 19 (as of April 30) (19 are ineligible to pitch)
Duration: mid May, end August
Games: Sun-Thurs, time TBD
Practices: scheduled by coaches
Location: Upper Kinsman (south side of KRC), other Ottawa diamonds
Twenty game twice a week schedule Sunday through Thursday - rainouts will be rescheduled. Umpires officiate the game and scores are recorded. Coaches may organize additional team practices.
Players are eligible to tryout or may be selected for the District team (the Ottawa District 2 Crusaders) which is chosen from players across the district.
Plastic, rubber or metal cleats, white baseball pants, a baseball glove, a batting helmet and a protective jock or jill. Batting gloves may also be worn. Only Little League approved bats sized 2 5/8” diameter are permitted.
