Minor Mosquito Rep

Birth Year of Players: 2007 (with potential for limited 2008 affiliation)

Length of Season: April to August

  • 30-40 games total:
    • 18-21 game season in the A.B.E.O Quebec league
    • 3-5 playoff games in the A.B.E.O Quebec league
    • 2-3 exhibition games
    • 9-12 tournament games 
    • 3-5 N.C.O.B.A./provincial tournament games (wrapping up Labor Day weekend)
  • 3-4 tournaments (1 local, 2-3 out-of-town; to be finalized by mid-April)
  • 2 practices a week
  • Overall 4-5 field times per week
  • NCCP trained and (eventually certified) head coach with Police Records check on file
  • Player owned uniforms and sportswear (part of and subject to team fee)
    • Cubs baseball cap
    • Personalized numbered jersey
    • Undershirts
    • Jackets
  • Cost: $375 + team fee of $250-$500 (to be finalized by Mid-April)
    • Team fees cover  tournament entrance fees and player uniforms
    • Team fees will be reduced by fundraising which builds teamwork
    • A budget for each team that includes a plan for  tournaments , fundraising and player uniforms will be presented in early April for consensus building with team families
