Umpire Uniforms

All Umpires are expected to be suitably attired for all umpire assignments. The league will supply Black Umpire Shirts, and Little League Canada Umpire Caps to new umpires at the Introductory Umpire Training course. Once an umpire completes 5 'games', the cost of these is forgiven. Otherwise, the cost of $18 for the hat, and $40 for the shirt will be deducted from any pay earned. If NO games are done the shirt and hat need to be returned to the league or you will be billed for same.
Replacement Shirt and Hat are available in limited supply at the above costs from the umpire Scheduler. If a child 'grows out' of a shirt, we will 'upsize' you free of charge providing you return the smaller shirt in good shape.
Umpire Uniform consists of the aforementioned Shirt and Hat, and Umpires supplied Grey (Heather Grey) pants and black shoes. The umpire will also need to obtain their own Indicator, Brush and Ball Bag, these are easily purchased early in the season at local Sports supply stores.
Chest Pad/Balloon, Mask and Shin Pads will be supplied at the diamond for use during the game. Umpires need to wear a jock (not supplied) to all games. At their own expense, some umpires choose to obtain their own Umpire equipment.
