Umpire Resources
Use the Little League Rulebook (the Green Book) which was/will be distributed to each umpire.
"The Right Call" guidebook was distributed to all First Year umpires.
Slides used in the "Introductory Umpire" training course are available on the District 2 website in PDF format, which is located here: http://ontd2ll.fuzzybeagle.com/Umpires.php
Baseball Ontario Umpires Resource page: http://www.baseballontario.com/Umpires/ has information on the OBA Umpire Certification program, as well as credential information about your own certification. You register for courses at this site, and there are other training and informational materials including newsletters there as well.
Umpires are encouraged to consult with and learn from more senior umpires. Feel free to discuss things with them or ask for assignments with them. Our league Umpire in Charge, Rick Norris, has over 20 years of umpiring experience.
