Umpire Training - 2017

Introductory Umpire Clinic
Host/Location: Hall B, Kanata Recreation Complex
When:  Sunday April 23, 2017 11am to 5 pm.

Register: via the KLLBA/KBA website: use the ‘Register for Training or Clinic’ tab on left side of the website.
Bring materials for taking notes. All 1st & 2nd year umpires must attend.

 

On-field Umpire Positioning Clinic
Host/Location: D2/Pinecrest Diamonds
When:  TO BE DETERMINED. Likely weekend of April 29/30 2017, likely 1pm
Bring your baseball glove. All 1st year umpires must attend, optional but beneficial for others.

 

OBA Level 1 Umpire Certification Clinic

Location: KRC Hall C
When: Sunday April 30, 2017 9am to 4pm

OBA Level 2 Umpire Certification Clinic
Location: KRC Program Room
When: Sunday April 30, 2017 9am to 4pm

Applicable to 2nd + year umpires age 15+ who wish to umpire OBA games at Bantam and above (as well as below) levels. Must certify every year. Must have been an OBA Level 1 Umpire for 2 years to qualify for Level 2. Little League Intermediate Umpire Clinic

Host/Location: TBD (Usually hosted at LL District 2 Level)
When: 2017 Date to be determined, if offered.  ; 9-3pm

What: to qualify to umpire at Intermediate or above with leadoffs, balks and pickoff moves. Candidates should be 14 years old and have 2+ years of umpire experience.

 

Little League Advanced Umpire Clinic
Host/Location: UsuallD2/To be determined, if offered.
When: To be Determined. Indicate interest to Umpire Scheduler via Email
Applicable to 3rd + year umpires. Qualifies Umpires to participate in District Championships
