Cubs Midget Wood Bat Tournament

To make payment, send an e-transfer to [email protected] or make cheques payable to "Kanata Baseball Association."

Registrations will close as of June 25th, 2017.

Tournament Details:
This tournament is 3 games guarantee which includes a random Round Robin and a playoff. This tournament is Open to all teams that meet the age guidelines level AA and below.  As this is a wood bat tournament, only wood bats are allowed.

With enough interest, there will two divisions in this tournament:

  • Midget (born in 1999 or earlier)
  • Minor Midget (born in 2001 or earlier)

This tournament, unless otherwise noted below, will observe the rules outlined in this document:

Please note the pitch count rules.

All fields will have 90' baselines with 60'6" pitching distances.

 

 
Midget Division
* Tie breaker rules applied - 5 teams at 2-1-0, not all teams were involved in games with others in tie breaker (EMP Bulldogs did not play the other tied teams) so tie-breaker rules P7.3 t i) and t ii) cannot be applied. Using P7.3 t iii), defensive runs allowed amonst all games, Lac St. Louis Tigers are eliminated from tie-breaker (finish in 6th place):
