Sam Bat Wood Fall Tournament

When: Games are held the weekend of September 22-24th.

Who: All teams are welcome with players of the appropriate age. Fall Ball uses next year's age groups to give players a chance to play up and prepare for the following season.

12U	2006-2005
14U	2004-2003
16U	2002-2001

Where: Kanata's finest diamonds at the Kanata Recreation Complex: Upper Kinsmen, Lower Kinsmen, Scott Tokessy, March Central and Mike Channing.

Why: The Ottawa/Gatineau/Montreal region is a hotbed for Fall Baseball.  If you would like setup a team tour of the Sam Bat facility in nearby Carleton Place, contact [email protected].

Rules:

• wood bats for all divisions
• 5 run limit for all innings except the last
• 7 innings max, no time limit, RR games may end in a tie
• continuous batting order (no substitutions)
• mercy rule: 15 runs after 4 innings, 10 after 5
• no infield warmup between games

• All schedules are posted on the Kanata Baseball website at: https://www.kllba.ca/ClientSite/schedule (select your age group - "Fall Tournament - 10U", "Fall Tournament 12U", etc. - and your team from the drop down lists)
• PLEASE NOTE: Saturday's 14U times were advanced 30 minutes (9:30am start instead of 10am) to try completing the day's schedule with sunlight.
