Rally Cap Coaching

Rally Cap is Baseball Canada's initiation program for Baseball.  The focus is on fun, friendships and being outside to play.  This is a great age to be a coach!

All coaches will be provided with National Coaching Certification Program training online.  This training will provide each coach with the basics they need to deliver an enjoyable program for all players.  You can take advantage of this at any time.  

1. Your convenor will assign you an Access ID that will make the course free for you.  Contact [email protected] to ask for an ID.
2. Go to the Baseball Canada NCCP website: http://nccp.baseball.ca and click Register Now on the left hand side.
3. Complete the registration form.  If you have an NCCP number from another sport enter it.  For Local Association enter "Kanata Baseball Association".  Use the Access ID you were provided.
4. Complete the course!  It takes about 2-3 hours which can be done over more than one session.
5. After the course is completed, you will be assigned an NCCP number.  Please contact the convenor and provide your NCCP number for our records.

Every coach will also be provided a Rally Cap Coaching Manual from Baseball Canada.  This compact book provides a all the drills and activities you need to help kids learn the sport of baseball and other fundamental movement skills.  The book is nicely organized into the different skills levels so you will always know you have the right skills for your teams current developmental level.
