Little League Teams wrapup their Summer Seasons
Inerlock Playoffs held in late August
Updated Thursday September 15, 2016 by Kanata Baseball Association.14 of our Little League teams continued beyond the Spring season to continue to play as teams in the City wide Little League Interlock league in July and August.
Over the course of the season most of these teams played 28-31 games and had an average of 8-12 practices.
The Kanata Rookie National Cardinals are City Interlock citywide playoff and regular season CHAMPIONS for 2016.They defeated the Kanata Rookie National Blue Jays in the final game 8-5. The Kanata Rookie National Giants and RedSox rounded out the top 4 teams in this 10 team league.
The Kanata Minor National Tigers won the B side pool in their division of the citywide Minor National Interlock playoffs, defeating the East Nepean Green Eagles 6-2 in the final game.
The Kanata Minor National Phillies also won the B side pool of their division of the Minor National interlock playoffs, defeating the East Nepean Grey Eagles 17-10 in the final game.
The Kanata Major National Blue Jays won the C side pool in their division of the citywide Major National interlock playoffs, defeating the Kanata Major National Padres 12-6 in the final game.
The Kanata Junior National White Sox won the B side pool in citywide Interlock Junior National division by defeating the Kanata Junior National Athletics 17-6 in the final game.
