Seaway Surge Take First Place

1st Annual Mosquito Tournament

6 teams from across the region came together and participated in this first annual Kanata Cubs Mosquito Tournament:

  • Orleans Minor Red Sox
  • Outaouais Tyrans Blanc
  • Seaway Surge
  • Kanata Major Cubs
  • Kanata Minor Cubs
  • Kanata Select Cubs

Some surprising and hard fought battles between teams led to a final between the Seaway Surge and Kanata Major Cubs. The final match demonstrated great pitching, great fielding and amazing at-bats by all. In the end, the Surge squeezed out some bunt base-hits that made the difference in a 7-6 victory earning them the Championship.
