Updated Monday May 22, 2017 by Russell Mullins.WoW! what to say about our first game... So much fun and wow are we proud of our boys tonight! Final score was 7-6 loss to the Major AA Cubs BUT I could care less about that score. Reason why is our boys played hard, they executed, they battled and us coaches cannot ask for anything more. We had the lead for a few innings and were coming back after being down 7-4 to make it 7-6 and the game was called due to time, we were hoping for one more inning but umpy called the game. Great catches, geat outs, great hits, Great first game!
Our player of the game tonight was Jacob. He was our starter tonight and we could not have asked for more. He pitched 3 strong with over 60 pitches and had 4 strikeouts!!!
