Divisions

Summer - Rookie Interlock

Rookie teams will play against Rookie teams from other associations in July and August. Rookie divisions are all "Coach Pitch" divisions. The diamond used is a 60-foot base distance. There are tiered divisions: Canadian and National.

Summer - Rookie House

Teams play within a KBA House structure with rules based roughly on those played at Rookie National division. Games are scheduled in July and August. This division is a "Coach Pitch" division played on diamonds with 50 foot base distances.

Summer - Minor 9-10 Interlock

The summer program runs July and August. Games are played against Minor teams from other associations. Play will be "tiered" to A, B and C divisions. Minor divisions will be played on a 60 foot base path diamond, and will pitch from 46'.

Summer - Major 11-12 Interlock

The summer program runs July and August. Games are played against Major teams from other associations. Play will be "tiered" to A, B and C divisions. Major divisions will be played on a 60 foot base path diamond, and will pitch from 46'.

Summer - Junior Interlock

The Junior Baseball Division utilizes a 54-foot pitching distance and 80-foot base paths. Many of the Junior League rules will be used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter.

Challenger Division

The Challenger Division provides boys and girls age 4-18 with physical and developmental challenges to participate and enjoy the benefits of Little League participation. This program has been offered by Little League International for 25 years, and operates in thousands of leagues worldwide. KLLBA will run this during Summer 2015. Current plans are for participation on choice of Monday or Thursday one weeknight per week from week of July 6 to August 21, 2015. Rep Rookie

Rep programs for players turning 8 and 9 in the calendar year of play. This division plays 6-inning games on ball fields with 55' base lines. Pitching is machine-pitch..

Rep Mosquito

Rep programs for players turning 10 and 11 in the calendar year of play. This division plays 7-inning games on ball fields with 65' base lines and 44' pitching distances.

Rep Peewee

Rep programs for players turning 12 and 13 in the calendar year of play. This division plays 7-inning games on mid-sized ball fields - 75' base lines and 50' pitching distances.

Rep Bantam

Rep programs for players turning 14 and 15 in the calendar year of play. This division plays 9-inning games on full-sized ball fields - 90' base lines and 60'6" pitching distances.

Rep Midget

Rep programs for players turning 16, 17 and 18 in the calendar year of play. This division plays 9-inning games on full-sized ball fields - 90' base lines and 60'6" pitching distances.

Fall Ball

Fall Baseball teams are formed in August. These are short season teams that run for about 5-6 weeks in September and October and end by Thanksgiving. These teams practice, play local exhibitions and engage in Tournaments both locally and in Montreal.

An OBA Tournament hosted by the Kanata Cubs Mosquito Division for Minor Mosquito Rep teams. The tournament takes place July 21-23, 2017.

An OBA Tournament hosted by the Kanata Cubs Mosquito Division for Major Mosquito Rep teams. The tournament takes place July 21-23, 2017.

An OBA Tournament hosted by the Kanata Cubs Midget Division for Minor Midget Rep teams. The tournament takes place July 21-23, 2017.
