Do you want to be a Rep coach for this coming year?

Updated Sunday August 13, 2017 by Kanata Baseball Association.

Kanata Rep teams start early.  Teams are formed either in August, Fall or January through a fair and transparent evaluation process.  But every team requires a coaching staff to have a successful season.

Rep coaches must meet the Baseball Ontario mandated NCCP coach training and certification requirements.  Cost of training will be provided by Kanata but coaches must take personal responsibility to ensure the requirements are met.

If interested in coaching a competitive Rep team under the Baseball Ontario model, submit an application to president@kllba.ca, that includes:

  • the division in which you wish you coach
  • description of your previous coaching experience,
  • your NCCP number so your transcript can be found,
  • and a short description of the progarm you would like to deliver

Coaches can expect to be interviewed before being offered a role.

Being a non-parent is a plus but not required.  We cherish those that coach for the love of the game and do not have a player involved.  However we have many execllent parent coaches as well.  Parent coaches will not be named before teams are selected at the tryouts to remove any real or perceived bias.
